Mumbai Police Verify Hotel Guests' Aadhaar Details
Mumbai Police direct Anti-Terrorism Cells to verify Aadhaar details after Tiger Shroff firing case. Guests' details to be checked at 98 police stations.

Mumbai Police have directed Anti-Terrorism Cells at 98 police stations to verify Aadhaar card details of hotel guests. This move comes after the accused in the Tiger Shroff firing case allegedly used fake Aadhaar cards to stay at hotels.
The investigation revealed that the alleged shooter, Rehan Ansari, and Phool Singh checked into an Andheri hotel using fake Aadhaar cards. They stayed at the hotel from October 14 to October 18 and left without informing the staff.
Two women, Radha Verma and Babita Rao, are also accused of using fake Aadhaar cards and fictitious names to book hotel rooms. They stayed at the Royal Rest House in Dadar East, where Rehan allegedly collected weapons from Radha.
The police have seized documents, hotel registers, and CCTV footage as part of the investigation. They also plan to collect handwriting samples from the two women to establish how the forged documents were prepared.
Joint Commissioner of Police Manoj Sharma described the move as a routine exercise, despite its connection to the Tiger Shroff firing case.
