Sunshine Buns, a company founded by four friends, has secured $7 million in Series A funding. The company's frozen cinnamon rolls, made using a family recipe, are now sold in major retailers like Target and Costco.

The new funding will be used to support production and marketing efforts. The founders attribute their success to local mentors and the startup community in Utah.

The company started small, with the four friends selling their homemade cinnamon rolls through messages and local deliveries in Utah in 2022. Four years later, they have expanded nationwide onto Target shelves.
