NCP Appoints Umesh Patil, Zeeshan Siddique to Key Roles

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has appointed Umesh Patil as its National Chief Spokesperson and Zeeshan Siddique as the party's Mumbai President. The appointments were announced by NCP national president and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar.

Umesh Patil, previously the Solapur district president, will now represent the party on national-level communication. Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA, will lead the party's Mumbai unit, strengthening its presence and coordinating activities in the city.

The appointments aim to strengthen the party's organisational network and leadership at the national and city levels, following Ajit Pawar's death earlier this year. The party seeks to consolidate its structure under Sunetra Pawar's leadership and maintain its political base in Maharashtra.

The appointment letters were handed over to Patil and Siddique at Devgiri, the official residence of the Deputy Chief Minister, in the presence of Sunetra Pawar and MP Parth Ajit Pawar. Other senior party leaders and office-bearers attended the occasion.

Sunetra Pawar expressed confidence that the newly appointed leaders would discharge their responsibilities with dedication and commitment. The appointments are part of the party's efforts to expand its organisational presence and carry forward the ideals and legacy of public service of late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Both Patil and Siddique have expressed their commitment to working tirelessly for the people and strengthening the party at the grassroots level. They have also pledged to carry forward the vision and legacy of their leaders, including late Ajit Dada Pawar and late Baba Siddique.

The NCP faces the task of maintaining its political base, strengthening its communication strategy, and reinforcing its organisation across Maharashtra. The appointments of Patil and Siddique are seen as a step towards achieving these goals.
