Madhya Pradesh E-Assembly Launches
E-Assembly to boost transparency, MLA questions rise to 4,000

Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar launched the E-Assembly system, aiming to increase transparency and efficiency in legislative proceedings. The system has already shown results, with the number of questions from MLAs rising from 700 to 4,000 per session.
The speaker expressed satisfaction with the progress of the digitisation process, which he has been working on for a long time. He noted that the increased number of questions represents the voice of each member's constituency.
Tomar also emphasized the importance of adapting to new technology to stay competitive. He appreciated the participation of all members in shaping the project, which will now be visible on the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA).
The E-Assembly system is expected to improve public grievance redressal and make the legislative assembly more efficient.
