Pune Girl Threatened With Knife in Abduction Attempt

A minor Class 11 student was allegedly threatened with a knife and attempted to be abducted by two men in the Rahu area of Daund taluka in Pune district. The incident occurred on September 2 around noon when the girl was travelling home on a two-wheeler with her friend.

According to the complaint filed with the police, the two men arrived on another motorcycle and blocked their way near Karande-Pingalevasti. The complainant has also alleged that Sheikh subsequently used the WhatsApp account to send objectionable or misleading information concerning his daughter to the complainant’s son-in-law.
