Fadnavis Reminds Uddhav Of Pre-2019 Friendship
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis recalls cordial relations with Uddhav Thackeray. Fadnavis says he waited for Uddhav's call after 2019.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reminded Uddhav Thackeray of their friendship before 2019. Fadnavis said he would have met Uddhav if he had called after 2019.
Fadnavis made the statement at a function in Mumbai where he released a collection of cartoons. He was responding to a comment by Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, who said Fadnavis attended the function because MNS president Raj Thackeray had invited him.
Fadnavis recalled that before 2019, he would attend meetings with Uddhav whenever he was called. However, after 2019, Uddhav stopped calling him. This was after Uddhav separated from the BJP following the 2019 Assembly elections.
The statement comes amid a political rift between the BJP and the Shiv Sena, with both parties blaming each other for the BJP's defeat in recent elections.
