Leopard Rescued in Indore's Choral Forest

A 2-2.5 year old male leopard was rescued from Choral forest range in Indore after villagers reported its lethargic behaviour. The leopard remained motionless despite attempts to shoo it away.

Forest officials observed the leopard losing consciousness repeatedly after the rescue. A comprehensive veterinary check-up has been initiated, and the animal will be kept under strict medical observation.

This rescue is the latest in a series of big cat encounters across Indore's forest fringes. Wildlife officials attribute the spike in encounters to seasonal movements and shrinking buffer corridors near Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary.

The leopard is currently under active veterinary care, with medical officers evaluating the cause behind its repeated loss of consciousness.
